b.1982, Manila, lives and works in London
Tosha Albor is an artist interested in the materiality of the creative process and how it impacts meaning.
Her work experiments with different medium and their alchemical effect on outcome. Her process-driven approach relies on intuitive mark-making and automatic drawing that result in spontaneous non-figurative forms, shapes and patterns. These abstract compositions bring together elements from memory, dreams, symbols and observations from the artist's physical environment and lived experience.
She has exhibited in the US, Europe and Asia, and has completed residencies in Macedonia and Morocco. She currently exhibits with Artinformal Gallery in Manila and is based in London, UK.
